San Dieguito trustee area-4 has incumbent, Michael Allman, being challenged by political consultant, educator and county health and quality board member, Kevin Sabellico. Sabellico says, “Teachers deserve to be supported, not attacked and vilified.” He calls for integrity and civility to be restored to the board and is endorsed by the Democratic Party. Recommended for trustee area-4 is Kevin Sabellico.

Sabellico has worked on two previous Harris campaigns.

“I've worked on a lot of campaigns before, and the energy behind this is unlike anything I've ever experienced. The people who came before my time say they haven’t felt anything like this since the Obama 2008 campaign,” said Sabellico.

"That’s why I’ve decided that I will be a candidate for the San Dieguito Union High School District Board of Trustees in Area 4. We must restore integrity and civility to the School Board and put the focus back on our kids — not politics."

This is the crazy reality we are in after the disastrous Dobbs decision in 2022. Women’s rights are under attack so intensely that now being “pro choice” doesn’t just mean defending a woman’s right to end a pregnancy, it’s also shockingly about defending a woman’s right to start one.

“It’s important to elect pro-choice leaders who will make sure California remains a reproductive freedom state,” Sabellico said. 

Sabellico disagrees with the way the Electoral College works, but says it's an honor to be part of the process.

"To be one of the people here today officially making [Kamala Harris] the Vice President-Elect of the United States, the first woman in the White House, that is really, it is a big freaking deal," he said.
